Turbulence

We all face turbulence in our lives, whether we’re experiencing at the moment or not. After all, we live in a sinful world. The question is: do we treat God like white noise until there’s turbulence?

I remind myself often that I am who I am, and where I am because of what God’s done in my life so far! It is only because of the challenges, blessings, up, and downs that I am the person I am today.

The thing is joy is the inevitable result of living your life with God’s priorities. Joy isn’t about having a perfect life here on earth it’s about having joy in Christ and seeing God work through your life in enjoyable, and difficult ways alike.

When going through turbulence remember that the Lord is near and that it’s best to go to Him first.

We have to be honest about our needs, in fact, we may need a mindset shift. We have to figure out where our priorities are and how we live our lives in Christ. We need to bring Christ into every element of our lives. One of the ways I try to do this is by taking a moment to pray while I’m in the car, or on the plane to any given event, or opportunity or what-not. It gives me a chance to thank God, and to ask for safety over the experience and to pray for others involved. Even if something seems simple, God loves us and wants to be there with us, after all, He’s always for us anyway.
