What your space looks like and what your outfit looks like affects every day of your life, and while I’m all about being frugal, I’m also very much about intentionality. I’m ready to believe that most people have the ability to make some updates for their space even small ones.

Take your budget seriously.

This doesn’t always mean serious decor. It means staying organized, clean, and thoughtful.

So what does this mean for my goals for you?

It means that I want to make your space not only edited, and beautiful, while being frugal, but I also want to make sure it’s yours. You deserve a space that fits your personality, tastes, preferences, and needs.

I started thinking about my style back in elementary school when my mom let me help put together plans for decorating the first room that I didn’t have to share with my sister. Since moving out for the first time, and then purchasing my own home I’ve only gotten more intrigued with interior design (not to mention wardrobe styling). Now it obviously looks different now then in did in 2006 ish, but it’s always remained an interest and it’s always been something I’ve enjoyed.

I chose blush, navy, and champagne for colors as the base colors for my home because I wanted to create an air of lighthearted optimism, professionalism, and creativity, and well because I also really like those colors. I chose my wardrobe style as a whole for a similar reason. I chose a city photo because that’s where I anticipate working. I wrote blog posts about my passions and what I’m learning, and about what my goals were because that’s important to me.

Your space and (wardrobe) will (and in some cases should) look different from everyone else’s. Even if you use the same colors, or maybe couch, or the same silhouette for your jeans as someone else, everyone has ways they combine ideas for themselves.

I addition, any space should be organized I believe in a way that it helps the person using the space. From a living room for having great conversations with family and friends, to a home office, to any other space the client needs to see. It should be help not a hindrance and fit the vibes of said brand.

I also believe organization and interior design to be important to a space so if your brand has a physical space I’d love to chat about it.

That said.

Organization

I’ve also come to the realization that I love living an organized and largely intentionalist (read: minimalist) life. I’d love to help individuals, families and businesses find methods that work for them to make life better. I am not professionally trained as an organizer but I have worked in multiple offices where I was able to hone this skill by organizing the business’s spaces and receive great feedback, additionally, I have learned a lot online, and developed my skills through organizing my own spaces and paring down my own items.

I love organizing because it makes things so much clearer, it makes things easier to find, spaces easier to use, and I find it darn near therapeutic actually. Along with this I enjoy doing interior design – again I’m not formally trained I’ll admit but between loving exploring homes online, and decorating my own spaces over time (on the cheap!) I’ve learned how to put together spaces I love for less.

My method is outlined below (if I am onsite, otherwise it will look a bit different)

  • Planning consulting – I want to work with you and find out what your lifestyle is like and how your spaces and things work into that. I will work with you to see what I will need to plan for your space and let you know if other items will need to be purchased to work with your goals, or suggest what I think will work well with your items and space.
  • Working with you or taking a load off your chest – I’m ready for either. I realize each person has a different outlook, some want to learn more throughout the process from me, while I am happy to take on the project by myself as well.
  • Reviewing your space and items afterward – This is especially important so that you can understand how to maintain the updates and make the best use of them, additionally, you can determine if any items I may have weeded out need to stay somewhere in your possession after all.
