Make the Best of It
I want to move and everyone around me knows it. This is mostly due to the fact that I tend to bring it up when people as what I’m up to. I’ve been making projects to get placed and I know that God has something great in
So I know people usually talk about making the most of a bad situation, but I think there’s value in seeing what you can glean from the good ones too. From acknowledging them in the first place to thanking God for them to enjoying them to the full extent, to making a friend or family member part of the experience as well. That is to say making the most of the bad isn’t easy.
I have been guilty of not being thankful, nor making the best of the situations I’m in. From monetary to time to experience and beyond. Sometimes those things are hard but I have to remember two things, I have it pretty darn good in the whole scheme of things, and God never promised Christians a perfect life. I intend to make the best of good and bad situations. I also plan to my best at every job or project or responsibility I take on.
Colossians 3:17 And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Sometimes I have been guilty of not being a good steward of my time either. From my stint of unemployment last year, to summers during middle school, to various afternoons in college. I could’ve been far more creative, read more book, or hung out with more friends. That being said this is me moving on and not dwelling on my past mistakes but learning from them.
So not only do I want to make the best of my situation I want to do the best I can with the time I have no matter where I am.
