Thanks A Lot
I’ve been told many times before how important thank yous are, from personalized notes to a simple verbal exchange. Thank yous cost nearly nothing but leave a positive impression.
Call it Minnesota nice, but I’ve tried to be thankful
I think it also has a psychological effect in that thanking others for what they do helps you realize just how many things you have to be thankful for. You see, we can and should thank God for everything in our lives, but we should also thank others as an extension of thankfulness for what God does for us.
This post was inspired by my Mom who had me write a thank you for everything it seemed, and by Praxis who has only reaffirmed this idea and has helped me to see the true value in the practice.
