FYI

You Probably Have What Someone Else Wants

Even if you are lacking something you want.

I have a friend who has her own home with her husband, and a job. But when I expressed how lucky I thought she was, she then told me how dissapppointed she was to live far away from her family, and how she left a job she loved to move to where her husband had a great job.

I, on the other hand live with my folks, and in the same city as most of my family and friends. I live with my parents, and I’m still job searching.

I also acknowledge that I don’t have to worry too much at this point where my next meal will come from, or where I will sleep. I know that someone probably wants the computer I have, or the skills I have or the experiences I have been blessed with; I also know that I find myself wanting the experiences, things, and skills that others have.

Work on obtaining the skills you can, and work on bettering yourself, when you thing you want what someone else has.

Also realize that like my friend, they may wish they had something you are blessed with, and you didn’t even notice the blessing.

I also have many resources at my disposal as I mentioned in a recent post. These resources mean I’m -for the most part- not stuck where I am I can pursue anything I wish even if it’s not the normal path.

So live your life, and try not to worry about what others have. This is hard, I’ll admit. Here’s the thing, you’ll be happier. The one thing you should do is let it inspire you to be a better version of yourself.
