Camp Lebanon

I worked as their marketing intern

I worked at camp for a whole summer, it was wonderful, I ran around snapchatting, and instagramming. Sometimes I just sat with my boss and discussed ideas, and other times I sat back in an office and edited, pictures, videos, and spreadsheets.

I grew the camps Snapchat following from 0 to 250 in that one summer.

I was the first person in my position, and so was my boss, and we worked through every challenge we were faced with and got to work making different elements of marketing work together.

Throughtout the summer I filmed marketing videos worked on databases, and curated the camps social media pages.

Below are some individual projects I worked on.

Women’s Retreat Advertisement design by Katherine Glader

I was asked to create banner advertisements for the camp’s website. In this case, I used images from the camp’s files to create an image that would stand out on a website and encourage “clicks” on the site.

I worked on the camp’s social media channels a lot and this included creating quite a bit of original content. In this case, my supervisor wanted me to feature Bible verses on the feeds, so I used images I took around camp and combined the two to give people a visual to remember the verses by.

Winter Retreat Promo Video Produced by Katherine Glader, Monte Abeler, and Rich Olson, and Kelsey Rieland

My boss, Monte, wanted to create a video to promote camps for the kids who were attending summer camp so the two of us developed the idea, and wrote the script while working remotely. Once we were both at camp Kelsey filmed the two of us and the youth camps director Rich. Monte edited the video afterward.
