Designing Daily Series – Day 21 – BallotPedia

As someone who tries to be active, and involved in politics, this Business struck a chord with me. I wanted to make them something, and although I noticed they had a lot of good content, I thought I’d just add something I don’t believe they had much of before, a call to action, this could be used on Twitter or even a billboard. Oh, and by the way, go vote on or before November 6th. Note: I do not own the logo featured in the image it was taken from the company’s website at https://ballotpedia.org/

Designing Daily Series – Day 20 – TMA Direct

I noticed this media agency had some very cool clients. I also noticed there was something I could do that would improve their brand experience quickly. So I made a LinkedIn banner. This seemed like a great opportunity for them to improve their business appearance because it’s something other businesses will look at and that’s TMA Direct’s target market. Note: I do not own the logo, it was taken from the company’s website at https://www.tmadirect.com/

    Designing Daily Series – Day 19 – FEE.org

Foundation for Economic Education (FEE) is an educational foundation that seeks to educate a new generation on liberty and economic freedoms. They have a Pinterest,  but I noticed their goals were listed only on a chunk of the About page on their website so I made an infographic they could share on social media, that way new visitors to the website know FEEs goals.  Note: Content is copied form the website but credited/sourced on the image.

Designing Daily Series – Day 18 – Classical Conversations

I love that this business is a Christian community. I noticed they had content almost everywhere but their great content could use some graphic design assistance. I believe my version of the logo would be more fitting for anyone to wear (apparel/merch), and that adding just a little flair to their YouTube thumbnails (among other elements) could be very helpful to the brand.

Designing Daily Series – Day 17 – My Tech High

My Tech High partners with school programs to provide up to date education in growing fields. They offer courses that can get kids where they’re going in tech, faster. They’re courses offer a full-time load option and plenty of diversity. I noticed that they weren’t advertising to kids much from what I could tell. My thought was, what if they could capture a high schoolers attention, and get them thinking about how their current school program could better serve their future goals.  Note: I do not own the logo featured in the image it is from the company’s website at: https://www.mytechhigh.com/

Designing Daily Series – Day 16 – PickUp

I noticed this was another brand that had a concept that could help me in the future, as I only have a sedan. They have profiles on most social platforms but their content is a little lacking, namely on Pinterest, where they seem to have a target market none the less. I made this graphic that other women on Pinterest could relate to. We often like having smaller cars, but sometimes need a larger vehicle in a pinch. Now coms PickUp. Designing Daily Series – Day 12 – OppSource

Today’s business design is a company that’s relatively local to me, they’re in St Paul, Minnesota! Oppsource is a software company, they make CRM and marketing software work together to make businesses smarter and more effective. I thought for today’s post I would try making a blog banner for the business, especially since I haven’t done one yet. This would also translate well to a Pinterest link. It features a compelling title, the name, as well as an image that communicates a well working team. Note: I do not own the logo it is from the company’s website at https://oppsource.com/

Designing Daily Series – Day 11 – Displate

On my Praxis Wednesday call yesterday I remembered one of the other participants talking about Displate A business that sells high-quality art prints – on metal, its very visually engaging art, and built to last, I noticed they had some of their fantastic art well featured on their site but I thought it would be interesting to incorporate some text into the same kind of layout they normally use, that is, two related pieces adjacently placed in the image the right one higher than the other. I found two unique pieces that sparked a text idea. Mixing vintage and modern is relatively consistent on their website so I wanted to encourage…

Designing Daily Series – Day 9 – Drift

When I went to the Drift website I was intrigued by how streamlined their system was. I thought it would be compelling advertising for them to have a banner advertisement option to work with. They could use it with Google Adwords or the like. I created this concept with some of the colors and themes from the website in mind.  Note: The logo in the image doesn’t belong to me it was taken from the Drift website at: https://www.drift.com/

Designing Daily Series – Day 8 – TemperPack

TemperPack has developed amazing packing technology. Now businesses can ship cold items and have them arrive to customers still frozen. I noticed they have a couple of videos on YouTube, but not many – and that they didn’t have any specially designed thumbnails from what I could tell. So I put one together for what I think would be a helpful video, it’s intriguing, mentions their name, and high lights the uniqueness of their brand’s concept. Note: The logo in the image is not mine and was taken from the TemperPack website at temperpack.com
