Aircall

Praxis Module 5 Week 1 Project | Value Proposal Created for Aircall

I see a lot of value in Aircall’s business. The brand is super compelling. Aircall has valuable software, and it’s system even works with other software platforms – integration for the win!

I believe I’d be a great addition to the Aircall team because I have a perspective on how helpful the product could be to businesses for various reasons. I have worked at many reception desks and used many different phone systems – while working as a temp. In those roles, I’ve seen which business could be helped and how. I believe I could help Aircall find the best way to market to these businesses. I believe that between those experiences and my work in marketing for numerous organizations  I would be a great asset to your company.

This brand has some impressive design work behind it. One thing I noticed was that when I was looking for a way to get some of their emails there was no pop up to join a mailing list nor page with a form to fill out for it. Now it does look like they have a great system for offering free demos of the product, but there’s value to be found in offering an email sign up and starting off with some emails about how the Aircall product could be implemented into a given business.

their current front page, plenty of links, but no opportunity for postponed connection. Not everyone can take time the second they find a website to engage with it directly.
They pair most of their text copy with screen shots, though I think it would be helpful if there were arrows high lighting the elements they are talking about.
This is not a real graph but it showcases how I believe arrows could draw the eye to elements a visitor to the Aircall site will remember.

I have created some marketing copy and implemented it into email designs. Although Aircall has some fantastic advertising on their site, I want to open new markets/marketing concepts for them. One of the groups I believe that they could reach out to is receptionists, or at least their managers. Often phone calls hit them first, and it can be hard to find the right person in various call management systems, that and many handsets are quite old. Receptionists often don’t have the same contact list as the other’s in the company or they may not be in the meetings that share about new clients, and connections. I have temp worked for many companies as a receptionist, so this brand immediately stood out to me.

I have also created a landing page concept as well as a pop-up card. I believe that if they used these it would encourage customers to engage with their brand more. Not everyone likes to call another business, or sign up for the product (even a trial) right off the cuff but keeping a connection to customers even after they leave the site could provide sales down the road for Aircall. I know from just being a consumer that sometimes when I’m interested in a brand this is how I keep the brand in mind, by having them send me emails that help me better understand and remember the brand.

The concept behind Aircall acknowledges how important it is for customers to talk to real people and that often business already phone lines, just old equipment. I truly appreciate this as a consumer that likes to call companies when I have questions, so it also stands out to me when my question is dealt with quickly. I believe that Aircall could capitalize more on their out-of-office capabilities as well. Even though employees leave at the end of the day, having access to your information can be immensely useful if you travel for work or want to look up a clients name that you thought of from home. Maybe some companies could even allow more staff to work from home more effectively, opening opportunities to hire even more talent. Phonecalls are still very important to companies around the world and how they manage growth.

Aircall would benefit from reaching out to large companies, and small companies alike. By researching what companies usually use, and the tech that’s out there sales reps could be better prepared to answer customers questions about comparable options, or why they should continue offering phone numbers for customers to call at all. I would be happy to be part of this research at the company.

I would happy to work at Aircall, as the product marketing manager or potentially a different role and be a part of the great team they have.

Note: I do not own the logo, nor the phone numbers insert featured in the image, it is from the company’s website: aircall.io
