Why You Should Declutter 5 Things Today
It will make you more aware of what you have and maybe reveal 5 more things. Who doesn’t love the chance to remove things they don’t use or need.
It will free up more space in your home. The vast majority of us won’t say no to a freed-up desk, drawer, closet, or other spot.
It will give you a start to understand some things that don’t mean much to you. You’ll also learn that other things do mean a lot, and you’ll be able to pay them more attention.
You may find garbage and then you won’t have, well, garbage in your home. I personally try to get rid of garbage when it’s created, either when you open a package in the kitchen or you go through junk mail in the office, it’s best to get rid of it then, but sometimes it can take a while to notice a random box has become garbage in your home.
Decluttering means leaving what matters more so you can focus on that. It means less things you have to keep track of as inventory in your home and life as a whole. It means you have what you love front and center, and not surrounded by things you don’t
It’s not always easy and no ones perfect, but starting today, thinking about some things you can donate, throw away or maybe even gift to someone who would love and appreciate them might be a great choice.
