SoDak Clothing

SoDak Clothing is a company that makes South Dakota themed apparel. From t-shirts, and sweatshirts, to hats and fun stickers. They have a creative product line with designs that celebrate the state.

It’s run by a couple at my church, and when I joined their Sunday school class, they invited me to help them with their brand, as I was looking for work at that point. We organized a time for me to come over and help. I had a lovely dinner with their entire family and then went downstairs to help the owner with some online elements.

We looked at the Instagram first, we analyzed what looked great and I encouraged her to switch the account to a business setting, so customers could have easier contact points. We also looked at the website and discussed the layout and potential new page ideas. We also looked at the current product line and did a little brainstorming.

For action points we decided to try a blog post, I offered to write something up and asked her to do the photography for the post,  I also offered to add the graphic design to whatever she sent me. It worked out well and she was happy with the end result.

I hope to work more with this great small business in the future, and I look forward to seeing it grow.
