The World is Moving Faster Than Ever Before

I like moving fast, and talking fast, and thinking fast, I have a lot energy and it fits my personality. Patience is hard for me but as I’m still here in Minnesota patiently anticipating which job God will put me in.

Praxis has been ahead of the education curve, helping kids avoid debts, and degrees they don’t really need. The world is all of a sudden turning away from degrees, and I’ve witnessed it, and been a part of it, I’m excited to see where education will move next.

My family jokes about going to the “University of YouTube” to learn something, plus there are tons of sites with paid content out there for learning. I wonder if this is all it will take someday, or if we’ll move to even more hands-on learning, or if that looks like businesses creating there own “schools” to get better-qualified personnel on board quicker. I also hope that high schools will push trade schools, more than ever in the future as that remains valuable. I’m also starting to wish more families homeschooled their kids, at least for a little while.

Technology is moving fast as well, Apple released 2 iPhones this year, and the latest and greatest craze of the smart speaker was made affordable to nearly everyone. Everyone is connected faster than ever before with apps allowing you to link from your Google account or phone number and a phone switch being as easy as a sim card switch.

As far as news goes its been said that you’re better off searching Twitter or maybe Facebook over the news stations on the TV or radio.

This is all great as far as I’m concerned as long as we know when to slow down in our personal lives. Everyone needs a little down time in their lives whether they think they need it or not, whether its reading watching an episode of your favorite show, spending time on a hobby, or just daydreaming.

People are getting education faster, new technology is coming out faster, news travels faster than ever before. I am so thankful I have so much energy and that I enjoy keeping up with it all for the most part.
